These series of tasks were a lot more easier. The individual one in which to create our own bridge like structures with pieces of paper was simple enough. The group activity, in which to create a cardboard bridge from one table to another with enough space for a 'boat' (or other table) to sale it's way under, was good due to everybody pitching in with ideas and helping hands. At first we were just going to use tape to hold everything together until we were shown the wonderful things that elastic bands can do! Their flexibility meant that a lot of weight wouldn't be able to simply tear down what it was trying to keep together, which was the flaw in our plan to use tape. In the end, the bridge was successful. It was able to hold a remote control car going over it and our mario kart road design was also quite fun and for visual presentation.
Sketching a plan of some sort, as a group, may have been a good idea to get straight to work with the right materials rather than having to start all over again halfway through the time we had.
