Choosing and Researching Films as a Subject

So for our project on creating title sequences, me and Qandeel decided to pair up and tackle two storyboards each and two animated title sequences to do together.
We decided to choose, out of the film and television genres, a western and news events programme to storyboard and then a thriller film and a television drama to do full title sequences for.
We created lists of the possible films and television shows to look in to for each genre and then decided between us the films and shows we wanted to do. We ended up choosing Resident Evil and Orange is the New Black for the title sequences to properly get done.

We watched Orange is the New Black and Resident Evil and did brainstorms of the main elements which we thought would interact with text in the best way. From this we would have a starting point for our storyboards.

I feel like in this part of the project, learning from last lesson, we worked well with our idea generation and planning skills. We got to a starting point quickly and thus our ideas flowed more naturally and not so panicked and clumsily put together at the last minute.
