Originally I planned on working with a different image which I left on my USB at home by mistake. This was annoying due to the fact I wanted to use the photo itself as my piece and try and add or manipulate it. However, I decided to work with a photo I had just taken on my phone by drawing from it and in the end I felt this was a better decision to go with. It gave me something more to work on and perfect through the day. This was surprising as I didn't even think that I'd be drawing throughout the day. Usually I'd think the moral of the story would be to get out of your comfort zone and create something unexpected but to be honest what I created was within my comfort zone and was unexpected. Perhaps next time I'll aim to do the opposite and see what surprises will come out of my artwork.
